The content of this website is provided for educational practice, study, and rehearsal purposes, specifically to support students preparing for graded instrumental examinations (including, for example, ABRSM and Trinity College London).
Content is not provided for public performance, broadcast, or general entertainment listening. Content may be updated or changed without notice.
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the educational materials for any particular purpose. Recordings are prepared without musical repeats unless required by the relevant Examination Board.
Your use of any educational materials or services on this website is entirely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure that the service meets your individual educational or practice requirements.
This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us, including (but not limited to) the design, layout, appearance, images, audio, MIDI data, and educational tools. Reproduction or redistribution is prohibited except as permitted under this licence.
All trademarks reproduced on this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator, are acknowledged.
We hold the appropriate music licensing arrangements for the educational use of audio and MIDI practice materials within an online learning and practice platform.
Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
This website may include links to external websites for additional information. We are not responsible for the content of external sites.
You may not create a link to this website from another website or document without Your Online Pianist’s prior written consent.
Your use of this website and any dispute arising from it is governed by the laws of England, Scotland and Wales.
Permitted Use of Educational Content
Audio and MIDI materials are provided solely as educational practice materials to support individual study and rehearsal. They are not marketed or supplied as standalone commercial music downloads for general listening or entertainment.
You may not use content in any way that allows others to download, extract, redistribute, share, or commercially exploit the materials.
You may not use audio or MIDI content to manufacture, distribute or sell records, compact discs, jukeboxes or any other audio-only product that is not synchronised or combined with other audio or musical content. For example, you may not download multiple items and create a CD to sell.
User Accounts & Educational Access
Access to educational practice materials is granted to one individual learner per account.
Access packages may include streaming and offline access (including downloads) of educational practice materials, subject to a fair use policy consistent with individual study and rehearsal.
Any attempts made to circumvent access controls or security may lead to account suspension or termination without refund of membership fee, credits purchased, or access rights.
Your account will allow for one user per account to be logged in at any given time. Sharing your account details may lead to temporary restriction of your account.
Educational practice materials accessed via your account are intended for use by one learner only. Additional learners must have their own accounts and access rights where needed.
You are responsible for tracking all activity for each user account, and you agree to: (1) maintain the security of all passwords and usernames; (2) notify YourOnlinePianist immediately of any unauthorised use or other breach of security; and (3) accept all responsibility for activity that occurs under each user account. YourOnlinePianist reserves the right to monitor usage to ensure compliance with these terms.
Refunds & Cancellation
Credit Pack Refunds
Refunds for unused educational access credits may be requested within 30 days of your invoice date, provided that you have not used any credits from the pack.
Educational Material Access (Streaming / Offline Access)
YourOnlinePianist does not offer refunds or re-credits for educational practice materials that have been accessed or downloaded, except where files are demonstrably defective due to a technical issue (at our sole discretion).
All requests for refunds/cancellations must be made in writing. If the request is approved, YourOnlinePianist will issue a credit to your account or credit card.
In the event of cancellation, your rights to use the educational materials terminate, and you must delete or destroy any locally stored copies of the educational materials.
Payment
We accept most forms of card payment including VISA, Mastercard unfortunately not American Express. For card payments you will be redirected to our secure payment provider to process the payment and will be returned to our site when complete.
